Kleos Space partnered with ISISPACE to build and manage its fourth satellite cluster, the Observer Mission (KSF3). The launch date for the KSF3 mission was January 2023. Kleos’ fourth satellite cluster complements the 37-degree orbit of the ‘Scouting Mission’ and Sun Synchronous orbits of the ‘Vigilance Mission’ and ‘Patrol Mission’ satellites with up to a further 119 million km² data collection capacity per day (Vigilance and Patrol Missions each have similar data collect capacity).

The Observer Mission satellites will complement existing missions, furthering the company’s commitment to provide global surveillance and intelligence capabilities. The mission will leverage ISISPACE’s expertise in nanosatellite design, development, and integration.
ISISPACE handled all aspects of the project, including production, testing, and launch integration services. This new satellite cluster enhances Kleos’ ability to detect radio frequency transmissions, supporting governments and commercial entities in their fight against illegal activities such as piracy and smuggling. Kleos’ growing constellation improves both revisit times and data gathering capabilities, creating more opportunities for higher-value products.
